It covers the aipim.ai and quolab.ai websites: the pages you are visiting and the forms you find on them. Using the QuoLab platform after signing up is governed by the terms you accept at registration.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Daniel Felix Reis, who runs the Aipim project and the QuoLab.ai platform.
Aipim.ai S.r.l. is currently being incorporated: until then the controller is a natural person, not a company. Once the company is registered it will take over as controller and this page will be updated.
For anything concerning your data, write to info@aipim.ai: a person answers, not an automated form.
What we collect
Only what you give us by filling in a form. We do not buy lists, we do not gather data from other sources, and we do not follow you around as you browse.
- Contact form on aipim.ai
- Name, company, email, type of enquiry and the message you write.
- “Work with us / Partnerships” form on aipim.ai
- Name, email, company, LinkedIn profile and any other links you choose to share, your message and — if you attach one — your CV as a PDF.
- Contact form on quolab.ai
- Name, company, email, whether you are a brand or a creator, and your message.
- Investor form on quolab.ai
- Name, work email, company or fund, role, investor type and, if you share it, your LinkedIn profile.
- Technical browsing data
- When you visit the sites, our provider's servers log IP address, date, time and the page requested. This is how the web ordinarily works, and it serves security and troubleshooting.
One practical note on CVs: please leave out anything that is not needed to assess your application — religious or political beliefs, health data, ethnic origin. If you send them anyway, we use them only to read your application and delete them along with the rest.
Why we process it, and on what basis
Every use has a specific legal basis under Article 6 of the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
- Replying to your enquiry, assessing your application or your partnership proposal: steps taken at your request before any agreement, plus the consent you give by ticking the box before sending.
- Sending the confidential documents to those who request them from the investor page on quolab.ai: the same legal basis.
- Keeping the sites up, safe and working: our legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure, with no impact on your rights.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or hand your data to anyone.
- We do not use it for advertising, newsletters or mailing lists: writing to us does not put you on any list.
- We do not profile you and we take no automated decisions about you: applications and proposals are read by a person.
- We use no profiling, analytics or advertising cookies, and there are no social network pixels.
- We do not pass your data to third parties for them to use for their own purposes.
Who helps us technically
A few providers keep the sites and the mail running. They process data on our behalf, as processors, on our instructions and without being able to use it for their own ends.
- Netlify (United States) — hosts both sites and collects form submissions, CVs included.
- Resend (United States) — sends the emails from the investor page on quolab.ai.
- Cloudflare (United States) — runs the DNS for aipim.ai and forwards mail for info@aipim.ai.
- Google (United States) — the mailbox where form notifications arrive and where we read your messages.
Nothing else. The typefaces, which until recently your browser fetched from an outside provider, are now hosted on our own servers: no request leaves these sites while you are visiting them.
Where the data goes
Some providers are based outside the European Union. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the United States (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission, depending on the provider. We do not transfer data to countries without adequate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: 24 months from our last exchange, then deleted.
- Applications and CVs: 12 months from the date you send them. If we start working together, that relationship will have its own basis and duration.
- Partnership proposals: 24 months from our last exchange.
- Requests from the investor page: 24 months, or until the round closes if that comes first.
- Technical browsing data: a few days, according to the provider's configuration.
You can always ask us to delete your data before those deadlines: we will, without asking why.
Cookies: there are none
These two sites set no cookies — no profiling, no analytics, no advertising — and store nothing on your device. There is no Google Analytics, there are no social network pixels, and you will find no banner to dismiss because there is nothing to authorise. Not a single request goes out to a third-party server either: text, typefaces, images and video all come from here.
How we keep it safe
The sites are served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions are reachable only from password-protected accounts on our providers' dashboards. The confidential documents on the investor page are not public: they can only be downloaded through a personal signed link, valid for whoever requested it.
Your rights
At any time, and without having to explain why, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy (access and portability);
- correct anything wrong or incomplete (rectification);
- delete it (right to erasure);
- restrict its use or object to the processing (restriction and objection);
- withdraw the consent you gave us, without affecting what was lawful before.
Just write to info@aipim.ai. We reply within a month; if the request is complex we will tell you and take the time the law allows. It costs nothing.
If you think something is wrong
Write to us: we would rather put things right directly. But you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
Minors
Our sites and forms are not aimed at anyone under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you notice that this has happened, write to us: we delete it straight away.
If this page changes
Whenever something substantial changes we update the text and the date at the top of this page. If the change concerns data you have already given us and requires your consent, we ask you first.
